I am essentially an Alone Person. A contained unit. My own ecosystem.

I belong deeply to myself.

I’m outwardly looking and inwardly focused. Deeply and eclectically spiritual. A worshipper of all that is Holy.

I come alive inside other people’s words. Sometimes my own. But it is the poets who save my live.

I am an introvert, but not a hermit. A wanderer. A pilgrim.

My spirit awakens when I walk. Beauty appears when I am on foot, and stories are distilled from the photographs living in my phone.

I have arrived on the other side of my BIG NEW SHINY beginning. I have survived the Heroine’s Return, the death of a little cat who loved me, a Life Without A Shape and the Consequences of Kindness.

I am living in and through and around a Pandemic.

Without illusions, I am now Here, living within the words of my favourite poet, honouring the Daily Braveries it takes to be a human:

And me

I travel the old roads again and again

wearing a different life in a house surrounded by trees

At night the dropping pecans make little clicks above us

Doors closing

More and more I understand what people do

I appreciate the daily braveries

clean white shirts

morning greetings between old men

Again I see how

once the boat tips

you never forget the sensation of drowning

even if you sing yourself the familiar songs
